Day 01 : Bagdogra - Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be received and begin a scenic drive to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim. The journey winds through lush green hills and follows the beautiful Teesta River, offering refreshing views throughout. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the cool mountain climate. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02 : Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the picturesque Tsomgo Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains, known for its ever-changing colors. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier and deeply respected by locals for its spiritual significance. After enjoying the serene surroundings, return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 03 : Gangtok – Namchi -Pelling
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Namchi, a beautiful town known for its spiritual and cultural attractions. Visit the grand Siddhesvara Dham, a unique temple complex featuring replicas of the Char Dham shrines along with a towering statue of Lord Shiva. Continue to the peaceful Sai Mandir, known for its calm ambiance and scenic surroundings. Later, drive to Pelling, a quiet hill town offering breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga range. Day 04 : Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the natural and cultural attractions of Pelling. Begin with a visit to Darap Village, a traditional village offering a glimpse into local life and culture. Continue to the scenic Rimbi Waterfalls and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, believed to be a wish-fulfilling lake and surrounded by dense forests. Visit the impressive Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, one of the largest waterfalls in the region.Later, explore the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim, followed by the ancient Rabdentse Ruins, which were once the capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim. Visit the scenic Sanghak Choeling Monastery Skywalk, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, and end the day at the Pelling Helipad Ground, known for its wide open views of the Kanchenjunga range. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 05 : Pelling - Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling, famously known as the “Queen of the Hills.” The journey offers beautiful views of rolling hills, tea gardens, and misty valleys. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 06 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning, proceed to Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the majestic Kanchenjunga peaks, where the first rays of sunlight create a golden glow on the snow-clad mountains. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, continue with local sightseeing. Visit the renowned Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, dedicated to mountaineering history, and the nearby Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan species. Stop at Tenzing Rock, a popular site for rock climbing, and enjoy panoramic views on the Darjeeling Ropeway. Continue to the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, where traditional crafts are made, and visit a scenic Darjeeling Tea Gardens to experience the lush greenery and tea culture. Conclude the day with a visit to the peaceful Japanese Peace Pagoda, known for its serene ambiance. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 07 : Darjeeling – Bagdogra
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Enjoy the final views of the hills and valleys as you descend from the mountains. You will be dropped for your onward journey with wonderful memories of your Sikkim and Darjeeling tour.
