Day 01 : Visakhapatnam
Upon arrival at Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received and transferred for local sightseeing in this beautiful coastal city often called the “Jewel of the East Coast.” Begin with a visit to the sacred Simhachalam Temple, a famous hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha, known for its unique idol usually covered with sandalwood paste. Later proceed to Kailasagiri, a scenic hill park offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Bay of Bengal. Continue to the ancient Buddhist site of Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex, which dates back to the 3rd century BCE and overlooks the coastline. Conclude the day with some relaxing time at Rushikonda Beach, known for its golden sands and clear waters. After sightseeing, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Visakhapatnam.
Day 02 : Visakhapatnam – Araku Valley – Borra Caves
After breakfast, set out for a scenic excursion to the picturesque Araku Valley, nestled in the Eastern Ghats and surrounded by lush coffee plantations and tribal villages. En route and in Araku, visit the beautiful Padmapuram Gardens, known for its landscaped gardens and tree-top huts. Explore the fascinating Araku Tribal Museum, which showcases the culture, lifestyle, and traditions of the indigenous tribal communities of the region. Drive through the scenic Ananthagiri Hills Coffee Plantations and stop at the breathtaking Galikonda View Point, one of the highest viewpoints in the area offering stunning valley views. Later visit the spectacular limestone formations inside the famous Borra Caves, among the largest caves in India. After exploring, return to Visakhapatnam in the evening. Day 03 : Visakhapatnam
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a visit to the serene coastal town of Bheemunipatnam Beach, popularly known as Bheemli Beach. This historic beach town was once a Dutch settlement and still preserves remnants of colonial architecture along its peaceful shoreline. Enjoy the tranquil sea views before continuing to Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying pleasant memories of your trip.
