Day 01 : Coimbatore - Ooty
Upon arrival at Coimbatore Airport or Railway Station, you will be received and begin a scenic drive to Ooty, the charming hill station nestled in the Nilgiri Hills and often called the “Queen of Hill Stations.” The journey winds through lush green valleys, misty mountains, and tea plantations, offering beautiful views along the way. On arrival in Ooty, visit the famous Government Botanical Garden, a beautifully landscaped garden spread across several acres and home to a wide variety of exotic plants, colorful flowers, and a fossilized tree believed to be millions of years old. Later visit the picturesque Ooty Lake, where visitors can enjoy boating amidst serene surroundings and scenic hills. Day 02 : Ooty
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiri Hills, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, forests, and tea estates. Continue to the Tea Museum Ooty and nearby tea factory, where you can learn about the history and process of tea production and also sample freshly brewed Nilgiri tea. Later visit the beautifully maintained Government Rose Garden, one of the largest rose gardens in India, showcasing thousands of varieties of roses in vibrant colors spread across terraced slopes. After completing the sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy the peaceful hill station ambiance. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 03 : Ooty
After breakfast, drive to the picturesque hill town of Coonoor, known for its scenic tea plantations and tranquil surroundings. Visit Sim's Park, a beautifully maintained botanical garden featuring rare plant species and ornamental trees. Continue to the famous viewpoints of Dolphin's Nose and Lamb's Rock, both offering spectacular views of the Nilgiri hills, deep valleys, and distant waterfalls. These viewpoints are perfect spots for photography and enjoying the cool mountain breeze. After sightseeing, return to Ooty for the evening. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 04 : Ooty - Coimbatore
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for sightseeing around Ooty before returning to Coimbatore. Visit the scenic Pykara Dam and Pykara Lake, beautiful locations surrounded by forests and rolling hills, popular for boating and peaceful nature views. Continue to the famous Pine Forest Ooty, a picturesque stretch of tall pine trees that has served as a filming location for many Indian movies and offers a serene natural atmosphere.Later begin your drive back to Coimbatore. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of the beautiful Nilgiri hills.
