Day 01 : Cochin – Alleppey
Upon arrival at Cochin, you will be received and driven to Alleppey, renowned for its enchanting backwaters. On reaching Alleppey, board your traditional Kerala houseboat by noon and begin a serene cruise through the tranquil canals, palm-fringed shores, and picturesque villages. As the boat glides across the shimmering waters, you will witness local life along the banks fishermen casting nets, villagers commuting in canoes, and lush paddy fields stretching into the horizon. Freshly prepared Kerala cuisine will be served onboard as you unwind in the lap of nature. By evening, the houseboat anchors in a calm stretch of the backwaters, offering a peaceful overnight stay on board.
Day 02 : Alleppey – Kumarakom
After enjoying breakfast onboard, check out from the houseboat and proceed for darshan at the revered Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple, famous for its traditional Kerala architecture and the sacred “Palpayasam” offering. Later, visit Alappuzha Beach, known for its historic pier and scenic Arabian Sea views. Thereafter, drive to Kumarakom, a serene village on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Upon arrival, check in to your resort and relax amidst lush greenery and tranquil surroundings. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the resort ambiance or explore the calm lakeside environment. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 03 : Kumarakom –Cochin
After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Cochin. On arrival, proceed for local sightseeing beginning with the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, a symbol of Kochi’s historic maritime trade. Visit the ancient St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India. Continue to the heritage-rich Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, admired for its exquisite murals. Explore the historic Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, reflecting the city’s multicultural legacy. Conclude with a relaxed stroll along Marine Drive, offering beautiful waterfront views. Later, you will be dropped at Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
