Day 01 : Cochin – Munnar
Upon arrival at Cochin, you will be warmly received and driven to Munnar, the picturesque hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. The journey itself is scenic, with winding roads, cascading streams, and endless stretches of tea plantations carpeting the hills. On reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the cool mountain breeze and tranquil surroundings. The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and acclimatize to the refreshing climate. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 02 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to explore the natural beauty of Munnar. Visit the Tata Tea Museum, where you can understand the fascinating history and processing of tea in the region. Drive through rolling tea plantations offering panoramic views of lush greenery. Continue to Mattupetty Dam, a scenic reservoir surrounded by hills, followed by Echo Point, famous for its natural echo phenomenon. Later, visit Kundala Lake and the nearby dam area, ideal for peaceful views and photography. You will also explore Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and rolling grasslands (subject to park timings and availability). After a fulfilling day, return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03 : Munnar – Vagamon
Following breakfast, check out and drive to Vagamon, a serene hill destination known for its untouched natural beauty. Upon arrival, explore the enchanting Vagamon Pine Forest, where tall pine trees create a peaceful and picturesque setting. Visit the vast green meadows that stretch across rolling hills, offering breathtaking valley views and a calm atmosphere. Spend some time near the tranquil Vagamon Lake, enjoying the cool breeze and scenic surroundings. Later, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay at Vagamon.
Day 04 : Vagamon - Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey, the gateway to Kerala’s famous backwaters. On arrival, board your traditional houseboat and begin a relaxing cruise through the serene canals and lagoons. As the boat glides gently over the calm waters, witness village life along the banks, coconut palms swaying in the breeze, and lush paddy fields stretching endlessly. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine onboard while soaking in the peaceful ambiance. By evening, the houseboat anchors in a quiet stretch of the backwaters for a memorable overnight stay on board.
Day 05 : Alleppey - Cochin
After breakfast onboard, check out from the houseboat and drive to Cochin. Upon arrival, explore the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, a symbol of Kochi’s historic maritime trade. Visit the ancient St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India. Continue to the heritage-rich Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, admired for its traditional murals and royal exhibits. Explore the historic Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town, reflecting the city’s multicultural legacy. Conclude with a relaxed stroll along Marine Drive, offering scenic waterfront views before being dropped at Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
