Day 01 : Bagdogra - Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be received and begin a scenic drive towards Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim. The journey takes you through winding hill roads, lush green valleys, and alongside the beautiful Teesta River, offering refreshing views all along the way. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the evening is at leisure to enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02 : Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake located amidst snow-capped mountains. The crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding peaks create a breathtaking sight. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier, known for its spiritual significance and fascinating local beliefs. After enjoying the serene surroundings, return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 03 : Gangtok - Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling, popularly known as the “Queen of the Hills.” The journey offers beautiful views of rolling hills, tea gardens, and mist-covered valleys. On arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free to explore the local surroundings or simply enjoy the pleasant weather. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 04 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning, proceed to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the majestic Kanchenjunga range, where the first rays of the sun paint the snow peaks in golden hues. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, continue with local sightseeing. Visit the renowned Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, dedicated to mountaineering and Himalayan expeditions, and the nearby Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare Himalayan wildlife. Later, stop at Tenzing Rock, a popular natural rock for climbing activities, and enjoy a scenic ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway, offering panoramic views of tea gardens and valleys. Continue to the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, where you can see traditional Tibetan crafts being made. Visit a nearby Darjeeling Tea Gardens to experience the lush greenery and learn about tea processing. The tour concludes with a visit to the peaceful Japanese Peace Pagoda, known for its serene ambiance and panoramic views. After sightseeing, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 05 : Darjeeling – Bagdogra
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Enjoy the final glimpses of the beautiful hills and valleys as you descend from the mountains. You will be dropped for your onward journey with wonderful memories of your Gangtok and Darjeeling trip.
